What does the white kid use to make the beat in “Whoop That Trick” in the movie Hustle ‘n’ Flow?

Question by Gooniesneversaydie!!!: What does the white kid use to make the beat in “Whoop That Trick” in the movie Hustle ‘n’ Flow?
Don’t know if this one’s for movie buffs or audio buffs. When they are in D.J.’s makeshift recording studio and they are recording “Whoop That Trick”, and he’s got that drum machine next to his keyboard. Is it an Akai MPC, or something else? And what is he using to loop all the individual parts after he plays them the first time? Cuz he loops the keyboard part, the bass hits, the hi-hat, and the clap. Anyone happen to know?
