Sony vegas movie studio HD 9.0 crashing during render?

Question by Shane Benson: Sony vegas movie studio HD 9.0 crashing during render?
I am making a video about 2 min long and every time I try to render it crashes in same spot I have waited a day with it off and restarted my computer but it keep crashing. I do not think the video is corrupted because I took off the clip it was crashing and it crashed on another clip that had previously been rendered (on try with the clip that it was crashing on in the first place)???

I used 1080p HD AVCHD as input and as being renderd into 1080p MP4

I had just bought new version of sony vegas movie studio in hopes of that working but it would be nice if I do not have to start from scratch

Rendering is very processor intensive and these problems are often associated with the PC overheating. Check your fans are working and free of dust, hair etc. If you’re up to it, check that the processor heat sink is properly fixed. Failing that, it’s mainly down to the process you’ve already started i.e. trying to isolate a faulty video clip or still.
