Or do you usually have to make the movies yourself, and then sell them??? I mean do people “buy” porn scripts? It’s more soft core, I guess.

If its a story then it isnt porn. If its real porn then you dont use a script, not the kind of script you get in a Hollywood movie.
In this case, it would probably be a good idea to get independent financing for your movie, at least for the first one. if that makes money, you’ll have more credibility to get future scripts bought and produced.
Its all about the money. If youre a proven money maker you will make money in Hollywood. If youre more driven by the ART, then you’ll proabably starve in Hollywood.
