Free movie editing software?

Question by ICONic Girl Courtney: Free movie editing software?
Right now i have Windows Movie Maker and it works well for just regular music videos but i want a software where i can make video reverse and add special effects like colors and stuff like that. (I only want ones that can make the video go backwards and change the colors!!) Does anyone know of any free software downloads that can do things like that. You can put ones that cost money too!!
