Question by Heather M: What is the best way to get my acting career started?
I’m only 13 years old, and I’m really into acting. I’ve been in about 3 plays;
2 of them for lead role. I want to start acting professionally. I know I might have to get an agent/manager, or something like that, but where do I find one? And how much do
they usually cost? My dream is to go Hollywood over a certain amount of training, and most definitely take my time in learning the basics and hopefully make Broadway plays or be in movies. I know everyone in the acting world always starts small. Can anyone help me out in pursuing my dream? Any tips, and please tell me where I might be able to find a manager to help me find local auditions?

How can anyone help you with “local” auditions when you do not tell us where you live! Too bad too…I work for a major motion picture company and might have been able to help you out. Oh well! Maybe a lifetime opportunity will come by again!!
