First-quarter venture capital investments jump 35%
Large companies joined venture capitalists by plowing $ 6.4 billion into U.S. start-ups, with the largest deals going to industries that include software, biomedical devices and renewable energy. Swagger returned to the venture investment world during the first three months of the year, as large companies joined venture capitalists to boost the amount of money going to start-up businesses.
