Fieldsports Britain – Shooting badgers and wheelchair guns
As animal rights activists bring fear to farms in the South-West of England, Fieldsports Britain widens the debate. We have been sent a film of what looks like illegal badger-shooting in the East of England, and with it a statement that doesn’t mention bovine tuberculosis. Instead, it talks about the damage that badgers do to groundnesting birds, hedgehogs and harvest mice. We take a wide-ranging look at badgers and how and why to cull them. That’s not all! Roy Lupton is out of hospital and itching to get back into his woods to go deerstalking. We show how through grit, determination and a good pair of crutches he does it.
