Bump Mapping Minecraft – LB photo-realism (WIP)

(there are only a few atm =P ) —————————————————————————————————————- This is a “quick” piece on using Dax’s GLSL shader mod for Minecraft 1.3_01 to demonstrate my progress with bump mapping the LB photo-realism pack by Scuttles. For those technical n00bs out there, no offense, bump mapping is essentially the process of making a non-three dimensional surface APPEAR to look 3 dimensional. For example you’ll notice in the video that with the Cobblestone texture, I move left and right to show how the effect makes it appear to pop out. But, if I look at a cobble-block completely sideways, that effect will disappear because the shape of the object is still just a flat cube. In Minecraft this is done, of course, with the mod which I named at the top. However, in order for the effect to work, you need special terrain
