i have no idea what they’re called, and i really would like some to improve the sound quality of my films if im going into film school. does anyone know where i can get them for a reasonable price?

Microphones are not put on actors in films.
Mics are fixed or overhead.
If they were on their bodies they would make too much noise when they moved around.
