Question by Mr. Walrus: Where can I download the perfect video editing software for free?
Yeah I’ve got a bunch of footage of what I did for the winter in the snow. I currently have Windows Movie Maker and that thing has so many malfunctions. It’s awful and I’m not the only one with this problem. And honestly it’s kind of too simple.

I want more effects to mess around with. These aren’t my videos but if someone could tell me which program this girl is using that would be great. It looks pretty neat and Windows movie maker sure doesn’t have these effect available. Look at 2:48 I like the shaky camera effect. Really neat.

Also 3:22 with the four square image and all the color changing that goes on. Honestly she’s got pretty good stuff on this vid. I’m not looking to make a music video type of thing like her i just want those effects available to me.

PC user. Leaning towards a free program but if i have to I won’t mind paying under $ 100. Just any suggestions from personal experience will work cause i have no idea what program to trust.

Of course I didn’t read the whole question, but if you type “free video editing software” into Google, you’ll get a bunch of places where you can find a lot of such applications. You’ll have to decide which one is “perfect.”
