When making a movie/ video, and you’re making cut transitions, do you have individulally tape every scene?

Question by theblackcrusader: When making a movie/ video, and you’re making cut transitions, do you have individulally tape every scene?
For example, when i’m taping a conversation, do I have to stop every 2 seconds to move the camera to the other person’s face and shoot another sequence of teh movie?

You only have to do it that way if you do not have more than one camera. But if you’re only shooting in single cam, then yes, you will have to move the camera to shoot each person individually.
