iMovie and it’s great, you can get tutorial videos of how it works in detail here: http://www.apple.com/ilife/tutorials/#imovie
As far as downloading to an HP PC that would have to be something different like Avidemux or Jashaka found here: http://fixounet.free.fr/avidemux/ and here: http://jahshaka.org/
