What’s the best software to make movies??

Question by really???: What’s the best software to make movies??
I’ve to do this project & I need to make a small movie for that..I usually use windows movie maker for these kind of projects…but I was wondering if there’s a better software to make movies that has more functions than WMM.

I prefer Sony Vegas for my editing… it’s not free, but you can do so much with it it’s not even funny. Worth it. 🙂
