I need to do a project for my world history class and he told us to make a essay with a movie saying what in the movie is a historical event in the world.

Glory – with Mathew Broderick, Morgan Freeman, and Densil Washington about an actual all black regiment in the civil war, recounts actual battles and events.
Saving Private Ryan – Starts off with D Day and moves on to actual battles in France.
Forrest Gump – Forrest lives through and (fictionally) participates in a lot of major events in the 60’s and 70’s including the integration of African Americans in White colleges, the Vietnam war, Watergate Scandel, etc.
