What was the make and model of the life vests worn by the actors in the movie Deliverance?

Question by hourman: What was the make and model of the life vests worn by the actors in the movie Deliverance?
The life vests were dark green in color and had a zipper on the front. Each vest was made up of these vertically stitched tubes which contained the flotation material that ran the whole length of the vest. My guess is that they may have a military origin. If the vests are still around I want to know how to obtain them? The movie Deliverance was made about 35 years ago, so this could be wishful thinking.

I have no idea but that movie is on RIGHT now on the USA channel lol. weird…but you asked this question 4 days ago..creepy movie. I didn’t know that the movie is based on a book by James Dickey…here are some websites for really great military vests…
