Ive decided to save up to buy some proper equipment to make home movies. I feel i can be a great actor and have the ability to make good movies so i was thinking of saving up some money and start making some home video on my spare time. Makme them to possible send them in and get discovered or others discovered and if not that then ill just make the movie to have and for the fun of it cause its something i know ill enjoy it. i got like hundreds of vision in my head and so many ideas that i wanna get some of these ideas going. So back to my question what is the price of some good equipment and where would you recommend i buy them. And when i say equipment i mean a good movie making camera and some equipment to do some proper editing of the movies. i know there is software out there and stuff that can do that, is the software the best way to do that and if so which kinds. im looking into this seriously so i hope i can get some serious answers. thank you very much
oh and i forgot to ask if anyone who answers this knows of anything else i need equipment wise to make good movies. i wanna go at this full blast so if there is anything else im missing as far as equipment goes please let me know

Pinnacle is a good place to start. It runs about $ 150.

A good camera will run you about the same, so there’s $ 300 gone in a flash.
