What is the best software to make movies?

Question by fuego1967: What is the best software to make movies?
I am using cyberlink power director right now but I want to upgrade. I want to be able to do After Effects like when you have a still picture andthen youcan paste your mouth saying things like how conan o’brien does. Also be able to do a host of weird stuff like split screen. Anyway can anyone offer opinions.Thanks
