Question by Courtenay B: What is the best laptop & software out right now for editing video?
I just bought a Sony Handycam DCR-PC1000 and will be using it to record skydives (jumping with it), I want to dump the video on the computer and use the software to edit the jumps and make a movie.

probably the newest version of ROXIO. They have a great program out now I believe it is version 7.0. It has a great ‘movie editing’ function and will even let you record tapes to cd……..unbelievable huh.
