Person perception is our perception or interpretations of others.

It ties into schemas/scripts because they affect our interpretation(perception) . Schemas is defined as any previous knowledge or experience we may have about a person like you may have seen a officer in the past and you know that officers dresses in those officer’s suit (hat , guns, looks buff etc), so your schema tells you that anyone wearing officer’s suits must be an officer. therefore your perception of someone’s officer suit affects your perception by making you think that anyone who wears an officer suit is an officer, thus affecting your “people’s perception”

Script is just the role of a person. So police chases bugler. So affects your perception because next time you see someone chasing a burgler is a police.

Cheers.
