I am not a pro but I make short videos. With Adobe, it was hard to jump in and do anything without reading a manual. Pinnacle is great because of all the features but there is only a few audio tracks and it crashes a lot. I often had to make the video with the 2 tracks, render it and then put it through the system again just to add sound. The biggest bonus of them all is it has a very easy DVD making section complete with menus. My favorite is the Sony Vegas programs. They are so easy to use. Since I like the Pinnacle DVD feature so much, I make the video in Vegas and then make the DVD in Pinnacle.
Windows Movie Maker is a joke. Avoid it.
