I love to make videos of things such as AMVs (anime music videos) and they require a lot of editing and effects to make it look good so I was wondering if there are any movie making programs that are more advanced but not too hard to use. I also want it to be free (or a trial), downloaded of the internet (because it’s easy and simple), good-looking and trusted (no virus) and don’t say Windows Movie Maker because that’s the program I’m using now. I’ve also heard of Sony Vegas if that’s any good? So any suggestions?

Adobe premier and Sony Vegas cost a lot because they are the best out there and you can make great AMV’s with it. Personally I like adobe premier, if you want to try free alternatives wax is an option, and if you run linux, Pitivi is another option.
