ABSTRACT

It is our belief that the study of Rand and her works will lead ethical leaders to reflect on their own personal philosophy of life.  It is also our belief that one must first know what he/she believes before he/she can ethically lead other individuals. A person must know where he/she is starting from before he/she can go where he/she needs to go (Kritsonis, 2007).  The purpose of this article is to underscore the importance of reading the works of author Ayn Rand. Special focus will be placed on her novella, The Anthem (1938).
