Since when did drugs become a curse word?

Question by Just ˡⁿ ʟʌ ʟʌ ʟ@ŋD: Since when did drugs become a curse word?
What I want to know is why movies that have drugs are given an R rating, and why they blank references to drugs in songs. They’re not bad to talk about or show, they’re bad to do. So why do they have to treat them like curse words. It doesn’t make sense that they would blank out the word crack in an edited version of a song when it’s not a curse. Doing this is not going to stop kids from doing drugs because they do drugs because of pressure for them to do it. We got to stop sheltering our kids like this. We are trying to protect our younger generation from all dangers possible. That’s not good, they’re gona be lost when they do have to face those dangers (just like me). Anyway, I haven’t seen this until recently. It’s idiotic.

Because our mommy & daddy government thinks this makes them look effective at their jobs.
