in this tutorial i will show you how to set up a Routing and Remote Access (RRAS) With A PPPOE Connection on Windows Server 2008 SP2. HERE is a how to guide. HELLO AND WELCOME TO THIS TURORIAL BY KEARNEYKID, I WILL SHOW YOU HOW TO SETUP A ROUTING AND REMOTE ACCESS SERVER, WHICH CONNECTS TO A PPPOE CONNECTION. Firstly, you have to install a role for dhcp and network policy and access services. Make sure to install routing and remote access in the features when you are asked. I will not be installing them as I already have them installed but just follow the steps. When that is done, you need to set the ips for your two connections. Here I have the lan connection and the internet connection. Go into network Sharing and then into adapter settings. Set the lan to static ip and use the ip address which you want to use for the routing and remote access. You can then leave the internet connection to dhcp or set a static ip but this ip does not matter. Now go into administrator tools and into routing and remote access. Click on your server, configure, and enable. Click on the option for NAT. and create a new demand dial interface. Click next until it gets to the name of the interface this can be anything to remind you of the connection if you are looking at it later. Then click on the option for pppoe. Then enter your username and password which you have been provided with by your isp. Click next .then goto NAT which is located in the ipv4 column. right Click on the pppoe
