Q&A: Why do i hate the familiar?

Question by Ben: Why do i hate the familiar?
I do this with every aspect of my life. I make new friends all the time but never spend much time with them so i never get close to them. I never watch the same movie twice. I keep looking for new stuff and abandon the old as soon as i’ve got it. I’m always looking for new music and when i get bored of my giant itunes library and i dont have something else to listen to i just stop listening to music period. I join social networking sites and make friends in forums and such because i’m running out of new friends to make in my own social life. I start a variety of projects that i never seem to finish, not because i procrastinate but because i’ve already moved onto the next project. I’ve quickly learned how to be a professional graphic designer, audio production engineer, visual effects artist, etc. but as soon as i learned the skills i decided i didn’t want to do that for my career, although i very well could do any of those. WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME? Is it that i cant slow down? This is seriously impacting my ability to make close friends and pursue a career. I worry about what will happen when i run out of things in this world to do or explore.

That’s what YOU think. The world can never run out of things. Well, you just want to know new people, but do you actually know the “friends” that you call now? Or do you just know bits of their life? Try to get to know them more and remember, don’t worry, just keep being the adveturous child you are. :’D P.S. Teach someone the things you learned. I’d love to leard about Graphic Designing. ^^ I just brough Serif’s PhotoPlus. =P
