Q&A: What kind of movie makes more money, on average: a comedy, or a drama?
Question by danringbaseball: What kind of movie makes more money, on average: a comedy, or a drama?
This question implies a certain amount of subjectivity, in terms of how we group certain movies. For example, would the genre of action movies have its own group, or lumped into drama? Although they can be funny at times, issues of life or death are usually involved in action films, which is serious business, thus the drama categorization. So this decision of where to place action films would have a serious impact on the answer to this particular question, as action movies can often make the most of all movies.
