What job involves making the promotional posters for films? Is there a specific job title or is it just a broad occupation?

I would imagine it’s more of a broad occupation and it depends on what you would want to do. would you want to draw out the poster by hand or work with some commercial art? studios might have a hand in how it looks as well so you might not be as in control of the overall finished product. good luck. sounds exciting.
