Q&A: What is the best video-editing software to use?

Question by James: What is the best video-editing software to use?
Hey guys,
Am just curious as I’m looking to start a gaming commentary show on YouTube and am wondering which video-editing software I should use….. The only other editing software Ive used is Windows Movie Maker…. but nonetheless many people regard me as a ‘nerd’ with computers!
Just give me link below or the name of it below, and make sure that I can download it for Free.
Thanks, James

Seeing as you said Windows Movie Maker, I’m assuming you have a windows. If you have access to a mac, iMovie will be all you need. Windows Movie Maker, however, will not probably suit what you want to do.

JayCut is a online editor, and is kind of slow, depending on your network speed. It’s simple, but can do some pretty cool stuff.

VideoSpin might be one of the best free software video editors. I’ve tried it a bit, I kind of like it.

Good luck!

Also, you can, if you develop a good channel, get Premiere Elements pretty cheap, and that works excellent.
