Q&A: Sensationalism News Techniques?

Question by Shawn H: Sensationalism News Techniques?
Can anyone help me find an article with the following sensationalism techniques… even a few of them would be good.

False Novelty
False Urgency
Exaggerated Risk
Leaving Out Details
Emotional Language and Imagery
Naming News

Giving titles or nicknames to people (especially
unknown people) or events in the news to make
the story seem more dramatic, like a movie.

I need any article… I’ve been looking around but can’t find something with a lot of sensationalism.,

Try looking at http://www.sirc.org/articles/new_sensationalist_is_cross.shtml

It is a series of emails between an editor and a writer about the sensationalism in a particular article, from this you can go back to the original article they reference and pick out the various points you want, you will also be able to use the other media coverage the first article received to further illustrate the points of sensationalism
