Q&A: On Apple’s movie making program, iMovie, how do you get all still frame photos to be “fit” not Ken Burns?

Question by b_hewlett: On Apple’s movie making program, iMovie, how do you get all still frame photos to be “fit” not Ken Burns?
We are making a video with lots of still frame photos. iMovie automatically sets each picture to a “Ken Burns” setting, which makes your sight of the photo pan across the screen slowly. We have a lot of pictures so setting each individual picture to “Fit” not “Ken Burns” takes a lot of time. Does anyone know how to select all the picture and make them “Fit” at once. Thank you.

1. Create a New Project
2. Select “Project Properties…” in the “File” menu
3. Change the “Initial Photo Placement” option to “Fit in Frame” or “Crop” instead of “Ken Burns”
