Q&A: Is it really a good idea to make Twilight a movie?

Question by Eboni R: Is it really a good idea to make Twilight a movie?
Usually when a good book is make into a movie its name goes down the drain because of the actors or parts of the book is missing form the movie. I mean I love the books as much as any other fan and i am currently reading the fourth but should we really be excited about the movie? what if it turns out a disappointment like the Golden Compass or Eragon or somewhat missing things like Harry Potter?
