I like making music videos and movies, but iMovie ’11 is crap for me and I like learning new things as I go along. There’s not one thing I can’t do on iMovie and I’ve taught my friends so much stuff but I am really really sick of iMovie. I’m not sure what video editing software would be good for me though. The effects on iMovie ’11 are mundane and few.
I was thinking maybe Final Cut Pro would be good, but I’m not so sure. I’m really looking for some cool effects in videos and I don’t know what the effects on Final Cut Pro are (the Apple website doesn’t help).
I also like Sony Vegas Pro 10 but I don’t think it’s for Macs. (If it is for Macs PLEASE TELL ME where I can download it!)
Also, I really want a good quality Photography camera, and a good quality filming camera, and also I really want the camera to have good sound quality too.

Sony Vegas should work on macs. Look on the website for the free trial.
As for downloading videos off YouTube, go to mediaconverter.org
