Question by B to the Obby: I have a lumix dmc-ls70 camera… How can i rig it to be a web cam?
I currently can record video and photos and transfer to the computer but i want to record live from myspace or windows movie maker. Transfering recordings just takes too much time and space. How can i make it input into my computer or is there firmware or software to make my camera output to my computer. I have a video out (yellow rca) and usb… the camera also has (yellow) rca cable and connect to computer via usb…. but only to transfer video and photos… any body got a work around… i checked the website… all around the net… the instruction manual and even under a rock…. but no luck. Please help

I guess if you can keep it turned on for long periods of time (bypassing the battery saving auto shutdown feature), reduce the resolution from 3072 x 2304 to 320 x 240 and get it to stream at 5 fps as well as find a program that will interface it to the Internet connection, then I guess you could, but why bother?

For under $ 25 you can buy a real webcam and use it 24/7/365.
