I cannot find clear, thorough step-by-step instructions for this. People generally throw out a bunch of links (dvdshrink, etc). However, I am still confused.

if you want to get clips from videos on youtube, go to http://www.downloadyoutubevideos.com/ and download all of the videos you want to get clips from.

then take the videos (that are saved in your computer) and put them onto a video editing program (i.e. windows movie maker)

then edit, cut, and add music to the videos, and you should be done!
