Q&A: Can you help me to change my pokemon ruby scripts?

Question by Apodo En Reparacion: Can you help me to change my pokemon ruby scripts?
I am using a program to edit scripts on pokemon ruby. The program is pksv. But my problem is that every time i change the script, i compile it, but it interferes with another script, then both scripts saying the same. I really need help. I just edit a script, dont create entire new ones. Any help?

I have the same problem, and I noticed that when the game creators made the game they used the same scripts for different events. From my computer science class, I learned that programmers tend to repeat scripts in order to save time (so they don’t have to spend time thinking up new scripts).

Anyways, I’m thinking that all, if not most, of the scripts are “connected” so when you change one of them, other will change, too.

According to Whack-A-Hack, learning how to use scripts properly is difficult.
