I heard from a friend that they were going to make a hellsing movie, but with company switches and stuff im not sure if they’re actually going to go through with it. Does anyone have confirmation on them definitely going to make a movie????

No, that´s not true, but they are making the OVAs, and they have already released seven chapters. You could look at animenewsnetwork or wikipedia to be sure about it.
