I watched this a couple of weeks back, and I still don’t know what it’s called!
The movie is about this girl and Montel, who are a couple but their friends, having slept together, think they are moving too fast, and try to break them up, using exaggerations like weight gain and controlling relationships, to bringing actual married people to them separately, talking about the hardships of marriage, trying to get them to break up with each other. They fight afterwards, and of course make up again, like one time in the park, Montel says to her “Get your fine @$ $ over here” And they start making out to the point where they roll around on the ground. Then Montel’s friend takes him to a bar, where he gets drunk and his old crush Veronica comes in and his friend tries seducing her, and Montel is taken by the competition. He leaves with Veronica and his friend calls Montel’s girl’s friend, who is with Montel’s girl at her house. She acts like he is a friend calling to tell her about how Montel is cheating on his girl, and sure enough she walks in on them, although they aren’t doing anything really. They then break up. Their friends notice that they are miserable without each other, and so they try to set them back up with each other by giving them a romantic dinner for two in a hotel suite. It nearly backfires until they tell Montel and His girl that they are responsible by their breakup. They end up dancing and deciding to take it slower while their friends end up having sex in the suite. Who knows????
