Q&A: 1920’s movie project, need a few ideas?

Question by Kimberlyn: 1920’s movie project, need a few ideas?
My history class has to do a movie project focused around the 1920’s. My group has decided to make a movie ABOUT the 1920’s, rather than a movie FROM the 1920’s, meaning that it wouldn’t be a silent movie, it would just incorporate all the aspects of the twenties. Does anyone have any ideas on what aspects we could include in the movie? Any trends, famous people, basically anything that would make the feel of the 1920’s more authentic in our movie?

A LOT of very good information about exactly what you seek is in the Library of Congress website. ( http://www.loc.gov )

There are tons of photographs, stories and first hand documents about the history leading up to, through and after the “Roaring Twenties.” You can learn about the politics, economy and people of the era.

You may have to dig around a bit, but even a quick research at this site should give you plenty of material.
