‘Prom’ Star Thomas McDonell to Play Young Johnny Depp in ‘Dark Shadows’
New actor Thomas McDonell stars as the rebel artist student who steals the show in Walt Disney Pictures’ new comedy-drama Prom, only his second feature film. But because of the buzz surrounding his performance, he was asked to audition for Tim Burton’s upcoming film “Dark Shadows” and won the coveted part of young Barnabas Collins, the same character Johnny Depp will play as an adult vampire.

Sheen shines at selling tickets
Charlie Sheen, recently fired from CBS’s “Two and a Half Men,” will perform at the Fox Theatre in April. Although the nature of the show is uncertain, tickets sold out Saturday.
