Life is an imponderable secret. A secret that is sometimes hidden, sometimes temptingly revealed by a veil. As the veil of darkness is smoothly whisked away by the rays of the rising sun, as the film unfolds, the secrets of the characters and their motivations is sometimes revealed, sometimes hidden by their various acts and omissions. Ultimately the secrets and hidden meanings are boldly revealed by a sacrifice. The veil is at last lifted to reveal all.
