Mov formats dont work in windows movie maker?

Question by Liam: Mov formats dont work in windows movie maker?
So, i have just recently started making movies and yes editing them with WMM (Windows movie maker) and so i think plenty of people know that most videos (im using a camera actually) come in a format called MOV its a standard quicktime format i think, anyway i have downloaded “Rad video tools” and everytime i try to convert the MOV to the AVI format so it can work with WMM it comes out all choppy, not just a little choppy like bad stop motion kind of choppy..yeah so does anyone know anyway to change it to AVI without that happening? maybe a new converter? im not sure so please help out.

your best bet is to convert the video to MPEG-2 DVD standard and you shouldnt lose much quality at all.
