Question by Erica: Making Movie Trailers (professionally) …?
What kind of skills does one need to get into that area of the business?

I dont have any experience, I just love the feeling when a really good movie trailer comes on and i get shivers down my spine in anticipation!

Probably editing.. I’m not sure about anymore but I know some older directors used to make their own trailers (Jean-Luc Godard for example). Now you probably need a background in film editing.
