After grad school, I tried to convince J that we should buy this old movie theatre in the middle of Illinois that was 30K or something silly like that. The business plan was that we would show really cheap movies and we’d sell beer and homemade pizza. After thinking about it for 1 minute, J thought maybe we should be engineers for a couple years to at least pay off our student loans.

After moving to CO, I told J we should rent a place on Main street and start a restaurant that only serves breakfast (because I can make pancakes and J can make eggs). Somehow that didn’t pan out either. With the new wal-marts in town, there are still plenty of places for lease on Main; so, this is still a possibility.

The latest plan is pierogies. It looks like I have some competition.
