itunes and movie maker questions. . .?

Question by ♣Kellina♣: itunes and movie maker questions. . .?
I have a cd that i imported onto my itunes player. . . and moved them to a folder so that i can use them in my videos that im making on microsoft movie maker. . I can clearly see that i put them in the right folder, but then when i go to actually add music to the movie, nothing is there in the folder. . so i closed completely out of it and tried again. I even restarted my computer and still didnt have any luck. . . am i going crazy? or did i just miss a step somewhere. . . when you import the songs from the cd onto your company through itunes is it not the right format maybe? sorry i tried looking all over itunes and movie maker help, but there is nothing specifically for my problem. . . thanks everyone! and if you can think of some other way i can get the music from the cd into the movie maker program so i can use it in there if you could let me know, it would be much appreciated.

There could be two problems:

You did not import the music into the movie maker
or
You ripped the cd in AAC format, a format that is not native (compatible) with Windows Movie Maker.
