I’m trying to make a stop motion movie with these 50 something frames Ive shot. I’ve seen some pretty artsy ones, they all seem to use Windows movie maker. Unfortunately I can’t use that because I have a mac, I’ve tried downloading Dragon stop motion, framebyframe, etc and they don’t work in the sense of making it with music in the background and such. I have imovie but it’s terrible with stopmotion it doesn’t go any faster than one second per frame and it looks more like a slideshow than a movie-ish vibe to it. Help?

You can certainly get it faster than 1 second per frame, 0.2 I think is the fastest.
However have a look at this free software:
