Is there any good web-site which helps you sell your script?

Question by Willie Black: Is there any good web-site which helps you sell your script?
I wanna be a hero and I’ve written some scripts for me and 2 of them are nearly completed. One has a rambo kinda charactor in a conspiracy thriller and the another one is a lovestory of a schizophreniac.
Beleive it or not, but I’m gonna make it no matter I don’t know how I’m gonna do it.
But before that I have to work on my language, my speech is like an American but my vocabulary is not so good but it would be okay in 1-2 year.
I’m not swimming in the circle, ok.
See you in Hollywood.
Wish me luck.
I love you people.

I don’t know about a web site, but as a librarian, I get this sort of question a lot. I would suggest that you go to your local library and check out some of the “writer’s market” guides. There are guides for numerous genres including script writing. You would need to determine what type of script you are writing: stage play, radio play, film for television or movie because they will all have some differences.

In addition to the market guides, look for periodicals that might have information in them as well. Don’t discount looking at a regional bookstore for help and answers as well. If you are in a town that has a college with a drama department, it might serve you will to ask someone there for help. If you have a local theater group, consider writing your script for them to perform. This would be a great way to get your name and style known.

I think this is a hard process to break into. However, if you are willing to start small, locally, and then move up the ladder you can be successful. I wish you continued success and hope you do make it to Hollywood!
