Is “Hero” by Mariah Carey an ok audition song?

Question by : Is “Hero” by Mariah Carey an ok audition song?
I’m going to a HUGE audition for several important movie making companies soon, and I really need a song. I thought Hero might be a good song to sing. It’s really beautiful, and “G-rated”. Is Hero stepping too far?

Stay away from:

Whitney
Kelly Clarkson
Carrie Underwood
etc.

Choose a song by an artist who is not necessarily known for their spectacular voice. Make it your own, and you will sound even better.
