I have to do a project on Crest Animation Studios, and this is one of the questions I have to answer, and I have no idea what an outsourcing business is or what it has to do with a movie-making company. Explain this to me, please?

An outsourcing business uses other businesses to do certain aspects of their work rather than do it all inhouse. An example would be a printing company that would print the pages of the book and then outsource to a binding company to put the cover on. We all use outsourcing of one kind or another, like the Post Office, instead of driving all over the country to deliver our mail ourselves, we outsource it to the Post Office.
