I’m loser nerd, what can i do?

Question by SPQR: I’m loser nerd, what can i do?
I’m 21 years guy, I’m average looking nerd guy, i don’t care to polish my appearance or to wear on fashion and i can’t be humor, i always serious and talking in serious stuff like graphic and technology, movie making and stuff like that, i find it’s difficult and silly to be kidding. I don’t have girlfriend yet.
yesterday i saw program on discovery science called science of beauty that say however girls say that they want honest and family man and the appearance does not matter, they always wanna attractive guy on there unconsciousness.
so i think that my appearance made lack of self confident and afraid from reject from beautiful girl because i think that there is not any beautiful girl will attract to less attractive or average nerd guy.
So the last days i begun to live with the situation and accept to not have any girlfriend and even i decided to not marry because finding appropriate girl for me will make allot of headache to me.
So any suggestion from you Yahoo Answers good people about my situation?
