I want to make a hollywood movie ( a series of them) when i get older. I thought it would be good to start while im young. I want to write (i already have the idea) and maybe direct the movie. What should i look into? Where do I start? What overall tips does any1 have for me?

Watch alot of movies,read the scripts for the movies, see how they are written compared to the movie itself, then when u think u understand how to format a script, start out small just think of some catchy dialogue, think of some plot twists and then just slowly write it into a script…i would suggest (if u want to direct the movies too) to just make short films first..maybe 15-30 min movies..just to get an idea of wat it takes..surf the net, try and look for tips on writing the screenplays…just do all the research u can…thats wat im doin…and i have started on a script right now.
